Dear Journal,

I've decided to do digital scrapbooking. I think it will work out really nicely with Microsoft Publisher. There aren't a lot of options to put shadows on stuff, like there would be in Adobe Photoshop, but I think for now it will work for me just fine...especially since I already have Publisher 2010 and Photoshop Elements 8 is about $100.

I just need to get some ideas put together and start taking pictures! I've found a bunch of free scrapbooking kits, and there's lots of ways I can put the stuff together! It should be pretty cool.

I also need to start a list of stuff I will need for the wedding. I'm going to be making a lot of it myself, and so I'll be watching out for different craft sales, etc. as I go along. There is still 14 months to go, so there is plenty of time to find good sales! I will probably order my invitation materials in September though, along with the materials for the save the date cards and the programs and the thank you cards, just so I can get started on all of that. I'm sure there will be lots of people willing to help, I just need to get started! :)

Sunburn

Today was a tough day. I got pretty sunburnt yesterday, so I've been really sore. It hurts to wear a shirt! Haha! I’ve learned my lesson. Sunscreen doesn’t just come on the boat with us, it gets put on!

I have lots of great ideas for the wedding, and I can't wait to get started putting them together. I'm going to make a list here soon for what I need to get. I need to start pricing stuff out and figure out how much I'm going to spend.
